Meet Earl

I'm Earl and I came to the shelter as a stray. I was abandoned as a 12 year-old male miniature poodle mix. I realize that I'm not some young Calvin Klein model with rippling abs. I was a lost doggie in Auburn. A good samaritan took me to the AVHS animal shelter. My new friends at AVHS gave me some special care because, I had smelly breath. The awesome medical staff pulled ALL of my teeth and it feels so good. 

I have taken great care of my body to make sure I look amazing at the other end of the leash. Ever heard of the phrase,"good things come in small packages?" I think they were talking about me since I'm as cute as a bug and weight less than 6 pounds. After getting a bath and bit of pampering, I felt so much better. I was in a foster home and guess what....Have you every heard of foster fail? I am so excited to stay at my foster home forever. I love all of the other senior dogs that live here. I am not so sure about the cat, she kind of looks at me funny. Thank you, Auburn Valley Humane Society, for taking such good care of me. 

Now I'm in my new home and love playing with the other dogs. I enjoy going on walks to explore my backyard. I still have tons of energy in me! I'm now living in my "fur"ever home, thanks to caring folks like YOU.
