Annual Fund Drive
Your gift to our 2024 Annual Fund Drive ensures that Auburn Valley Humane Society can continue its lifesaving efforts. Your gift helps animals like Annie fully recover and find their forever home. When animals like Annie need special medical and surgical treatment and a safe place to recover, friends like you make it possible.
The cost of caring for a pet continues to rise with inflation. Our shelter, like many others, is over capacity as the number of animals coming in exceeds those who are ready to be adopted. But you can help ensure we can provide medical attention and rehabilitation to our community’s animals in need.
Please make your gift today so that all the animals we help can receive the care they need and deserve!

Your donation helps animals like Annie!
Annie came to the AVHS shelter, requiring surgery to fix an injured leg. Her leg was badly broken. She was probably hit by a car, although there’s no way to be sure. Whatever happened, she couldn’t move without wincing in pain. Our caring veterinary staff gave Annie some pain medication and a comfortable resting place. It was expensive. Fortunately, we had reserve funds from our extraordinary medical fund to cover the cost. Those funds are raised by donors like you and supporters who bought items sold at the AVHS Thrift Store & More.
Did you know that the AVHS Thrift Store & More raised $37,737 last year by selling 3,742 items for the Extraordinary Medical Fund? That fund helps many animals with ACL repairs, mass removals, bone fractures, femoral fractures, eye repair, or limb amputation.
Donors like YOU helped raise the funds to pay for special surgeries. Annie has adapted to being three-legged. She has since been adopted and loves to be with her new family. Won't you consider helping us with our lifesaving efforts by clicking the button and donating? Your gift will help more animals like Annie receive the care and medical treatment they deserve. Give today to help save more animals.
